Atlassian, in their guide, defines agile as: adaptive planning, evolutionary development, early delivery, and continual improvement. Agile is an iterative approach to project management and software development that helps teams deliver value to their customers faster and with fewer headaches. There are 12 principles of agile software development, such as the Agile Manifesto, which was written in Utah in 2001.
