Too Long; Didn't Read
Most interactions at work lead to a major or minor conflict. We either try to fight the situation - becoming defensive and getting stuck with our perspective in a conversation “I’m right, you are wrong” or choose flight. We can either view the conflict as a thing to be avoided or the source to get to the underlying truth. Managing conflict demands that we calm down and think clearly. We need to take charge of it in conscious awareness. Practice open-mindedness by exploring others' viewpoints and give an opportunity to explore alternatives.
